Hi. My name is Alison Segel. I’m a Los Angeles native.

I got my degree in Elementary Education at USC, did one year in the Domestic Peace Corps (AmeriCorps), and was a teacher for Santa Barbara School Districts from 2009 - 2013.

I have had two features in development. They both fell out of development but at one point, they were maybe going to go somewhere.

My first feature was on The Hit List for 2015, and I was on the Young And Hungry List for 2016.

I have bylines at various publications such as Refinery 29, The Hairpin, Cosmo, Vice, Elite Daily, Grazia Magazine, Flaunt Magazine, Women.com, Hello Giggles, etc.

I have done social media for E!, video content for SuperDeluxe, Time Magazine, Cafe.com, and E!, and have had podcasts on Hello Giggles, Earwolf, and Earios Network.

At one point, I also got the definition of “femininity” changed in the dictionary, from a mindless tweet I sent at Merriam-Webster while sitting on my couch.

I also love red vines, hanging out with my parents, everything occult and supernatural, botanical gardens, and doing art. For more information, take a look around, or shoot me an email. Thanks!
